know what it’s like to be lonely?
Always set to the side.
At the end of this tether,
My future’s bound and tied.

I can see the horizon,
From the edge of my circled bounds.
The path I walk is always the same,
So I’ll make another round.

I’ve made this circle many times,
It’s the one proof that I’m here.
If this is the path I am meant to walk,
I hope that God stays near.

I’m sure going to need him,
I’m forgotten by everyone else.
No one else has gave their hand,
No one else has came to help.

My cries and yelps fall on deaf ear,
And no one comes to see.
I’m just another forgotten dog,
No one thinks of me.
